Supporting bible colleges and theological students in developing nations (APAC, Middle East)
Our Financial Commitment:
Sponsoring 6 seminary college students in Indonesia and Lebanon through the church budget.
Our longest mission partner is LLI. LLI’s mission is to raise local “missionaries” that can be achieved at a fraction of the cost of sending missionaries overseas. It’s key activity is to support theological colleges to improve its teaching excellence and to sponsor students who will eventually return to their communities to serve as pastors, youth leaders, evangelists, etc. ESCCC is one of the few churches that supported OCA when it first started. Over time, ESCCC has sponsored XX students to complete their theological education (currently AUD 2,200/annum per student). This shows the benefit of long term partnering. Rev Stuart Brooking, who leads LLI, is a regular speaker at our Mission Sunday. More information about the LLI can be found here.
