Announcements
Every Friday night from 8-9pm we meet over Google Meet and Sunday morning 9:30-10:00am over Zoom or in-person at church.
Missions Support
In support of God’s mission, we encourage all members to give regularly to the ESCCC Missions Fund, according to your means. The EFT details can be found on the Giving and Offerings page.
The Missions Fund will be allocated by the Missions Committee to bless ESCCC and our Mission Partners in missions work.
Electronic Giving
We give to what we love. Due to the restriction of our physical Sunday meetings as a loving precaution against the spread of COVID-19, we will not be able to collect a cash offertory as usual. Electronic giving instructions can be found on the Giving and Offerings page.
ESCCC Mailing List
Email admin@esccc.org.au to be added to the church’s email list to be notified of various things happening around the church.
Rev Chris Chua
The Board of Elders is pleased to announce that Rev. Chris Chua will be joining the ESCCC pastoral team as a non-salaried pastor effective from September 2022. He will focus on his role in overseeing Mandarin-language ministry. This is an expansion and continuation of what Rev. Chris has been doing informally with us since the Mandarin service began. Rev. Chris will also assist in the Senior ministry in the English Service which includes preaching and pastoral care. He shall be a member of the ESCCC pastoral team as well as of the ESCCC board of elders.
By way of background, Rev. Chris was one of the founding members of ESCCC. He has been serving the Chinese Christian Church (CCC) at Milsons Point since 1981. He is now serving part-time. The church has kindly encouraged Rev. Chris to continue assisting ESCCC. The ESCCC Board of Elders have gratefully accepted Rev. Chris’ gracious offer, with gratitude also to CCC.
A community spot shall be arranged during the English service on Sunday 18th September, where we will further articulate to the English congregation regarding Rev. Chris’ role, so that the English congregation may be well-informed and offer him our prayers and support.
