Mere Children in Faith; Easily Swayed(Paul's Concern for Confused Christians)

Galatians 4:8-20

Good to see new Christians being adopted by grace into God’s family and growing

But sad to see them get derailed by false teaching, fallen into sin, get angry at God for some disappointment in life and tend to give up the faith

Challenging to “speak the truth in love” in concern for their faith

1. V8-11

Paul expresses his deep concern for their backwards step

“Now that you know God – or rather being known by God – how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles?”

2. V12-16

Paul pleads with them

“I plead with you, brothers, become like me, for I became like you. You have done me no wrong.”

3. V17-20

Paul expresses his desire to be with them

“It is fine to be jealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always and not just when I am with you”

How are we concerned for the brethren that are being led astray by false teaching? Fallen into temptation?  Wanting to give up the Faith?

Knowing God   ……   and being known by God
